Thank you for taking the time to read my qualifications
for employment with your company. I have been working on and with
computers for well over 15 years and in that time I have become
proficient in both the hardware and software aspects of their
operation for both stand alone as well as in a networked
environment.
I have an in-depth understanding of every Windows based
operating system as well as Unix & Linux operating systems, whether
in a stand-alone environment or in a Server / networked capacity. I
am capable of building computer systems from specifications and
troubleshooting computer hardware at the sub-component level, and
can design, build and maintain a networked environment. I try to
maintain a full working knowledge of all of the latest hardware /
software available.
I have extensive experience in the installation of a
networked environment – both software and hardware.
I’ve also designed and installed networks for use in security
systems with Closed Circuit cameras as well as Point of Sale Cash
register networks and building environment control systems. I hold
multiple Microsoft Certifications, which I have listed. I also have
certifications to dispense technical support with Dell, Micron,
Compaq, HP, Gateway, and Sony Laptops and hold a “Recognized
Qualified Repair Technician” for IBM laptop / desktop computers.
I have extensive time, training and experience in
troubleshooting hardware and or software over the telephone as well
as directly with end-users, on-site. I am quite comfortable working
with individuals who are not quite knowledgeable in resolving issues
with their systems.
I can work in, and manage a group atmosphere easily, as well
as on my own and I am a capable of managing projects to completion
without guidance, and have no problems working in a fast-paced
environment and completing projects within a projected deadline.
I have extensive training in the installation and day-to-day
operations of PBX/V.O.I.P. telephony systems from Avaya, Nortel,
Nortel-Meridian and AT&T.
Educational History:
I am a graduate from Poughkeepsie, High School, in
Poughkeepsie, N.Y. - Class of 79. I graduated with a G.P.A. of 3.65.
In June 1988, I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer
Information Systems with a minor in Electro-Mechanical Design with a
G.P.A. 3.35, from Marist College, Poughkeepsie, New York.
I have attended many other courses, sponsored by various computer
manufacturers, in order to stay informed on the newest technologies
and innovations in the computer industry.

day-to-day operations of the office network and PBX systems. I was
responsible for the maintaining of clients search engine positioning
and was the chief designer and author the algorithms and
applications that garnered top-ten search engine placement for all
of internetzing‘s clients. In August of 2006, Ms. Miller retired and
