of the city of Las Vegas, Nevada and I am provided a living by
offering various internet services such as web design, site
management, search engine marketing, internet promotion and
providing consultation to businesses concerning product marketing
and sales via "The Web". Currently I am a freelance web designer / internet marketer. I develop websites for various purposes, coordinating graphical and textual content to maximize site traffic from beginning to end. I love being creative on a daily basis and being in a creative position! I have gained a greater knowledge of the ecommerce industry through actually doing than I've ever learned attending classes and spending countless hours listening to a professor in a classroom setting. Sometimes I'm flabbergasted at the quality of work published by individuals who have spent countless years and incredible sums of money on college degrees or useless "Technical Schools" which really provide little to no knowledge that can be applied with success in today's job market. Most of the hoards of the graduating internet professionals and computer science majors, with their degrees and technical certificates hanging on the living room wall haven't a clue as to how to go about building a dominant internet presence. Anyone who is involved in a successful on-line business will say without hesitation that without a strong showing on the major search engines' results of users queries your company cannot succeed on the web. Since 1990 I've made a living from the internet. Well not completely. I would have starved to death had that been the case. After a countless number of projects involving different strategies involving S.E.O. / S.E.M. techniques touted by the "experts" in online marketing with mixed success (some with no success at all!) I became very proficient at designing and publishing "Search engine friendly" content and how to utilize my talents to promote businesses - initially being the go-to guy to promote local Real Estate businesses and then applying what I learned to various other markets enabling a very diverse collection of businesses to profit from ecommerce. As today's market is primarily based in a virtual world rather than in retail stores the importance of your company having a strong online presence in not only important - it has become essential. Without it, you company will most likely fail. Even the small local markets are quickly moving their storefronts to a virtual address. As the customer base of the internet grows at an astounding 314,000% a year, if you're not yet promoting your business on the internet, you are ignoring more than 72% of your customer base. These statistics are only going to get larger, as there is an estimated 1,800,000,000 computers in use throughout the world and of that, an estimated 87% of them are connected. Even more astounding is the explosion of Smartphone / personal tablet devices that are estimated at 3,300,000,000 with 94% with internet access. The 2010 U.S. Census reports that 97.5% of house- holds use the internet on a daily basis and of those 83% have said they have purchased products online. With this many potential consumers accessing the internet, you can certainly understand why the migration of so many companies has already taken place. That's where my services become valuable to you - the business owner.
